The Hunter Museum of American Art celebrates mothers and other special women with a dining experience in the museum’s grand lobby overlooking the Tennessee River.
There will be a buffet with seasonal and healthy fare. Mimosas and bloody marys will be available at the cash bar.
Accompanying the lunch is musical guest Megan Saunders, whose melodic American roots music is filled with themes of family and home.
Tickets include admission to the museum’s permanent collection and current special exhibitions, Once & Again: Still Lifes By Beth Lipman and A Painter’s Hand: The Works of Adolph Gottlieb.
The luncheon will be Sunday, May 8, with buffet service and music from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Tickets are $35 for museum members; $35 for children 17 and under; $40 for non-member adults. Reservations are required by Friday, May 6, at 3 p.m.
