The Sweet and Savory Classroom and Dance Tonight Chattanooga are offering a date night event, "Dine, Dance and Romance” on Friday, May 13, from 6-9 p.m.
The Sweet and Savory Classroom owners, Jeff and Heather Pennypacker, and Dance Tonight Chattanooga co-owners, Kyle Barels and Casey Haywood, decided to capitalize on the close proximity of their locations by teaming up to offer Chattanooga a night of cooking and dancing.
The evening will begin at Dance Tonight Chattanooga as Casey Haywood leads an hour-long swing dance class. After dancing up an appetite, the group will walk across the street where Jeff Pennypacker will instruct couples on the fine art of preparing tomato and onion tarts, pan seared chicken, risotto cakes with julienne vegetables, and crepes suzette.
“We are looking forward to offering couples a wonderful night of bonding through dancing and cooking,” staid Mr.Haywood. “This is the first time we have offered a combination cooking and dancing class, but we hope to offer many more joint classes in the future."
This event is by reservation only. Tickets can be purchased online at sweetandsavoryclassroom.com. For additional information about this event or for a listing of available camps and classes, call 661-8750.
