Jack F. Rutledge, M.D. and CHI Memorial Metabolic and Bariatric Care will host two free seminars in May on surgical weight loss options. The seminars will be held at CHI Memorial Hospital in the community room on Tuesday, May 10, and in Cleveland at Life Care Centers of America - Campbell Center on Tuesday, May 24.   Both seminars will begin at 6 p.m.

This educational seminar is designed to help you better understand metabolic surgery and how it may benefit your health. Topics include: who is a good candidate for the procedure, what to expect during the recovery period, and lifestyle changes needed to foster a successful outcome.

The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) recently granted CHI Memorial accreditation.  This means people in the Chattanooga region have access to the some of the most effective weight loss surgery options along with a highly trained medical staff that supports individuals through their weight loss journey.

CHI Memorial is recognized as an Optum/United Bariatric Surgery Centers of Excellence and Aetna Bariatric Surgery Institute of Quality program.

Call (423) 495-2501 today to register or for more information. Walk-ins are also welcome. Attendees are asked to arrive at the seminar location at 5:30 p.m.
