Carl Edward Smith, 74, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, died on Friday, April 29, 2016 at his home.
Carl was a son of the late Willie Eugene and Mary Belk Smith and was also preceded in death by a son, Rodger Smith, three brothers, Charlie, Billy and Johnny Smith, sister, Bonnie Farley, granddaughter, Jessica.
Carl was a truck driver having worked for Shaw many years.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Smith, daughter, Kimberly Sherman, Chattanooga; two step-sons, Jeffrey (Kathy) Hawkins and Scott (Brandy) Hawkins, Signal Mountain; two brothers, Ronnie (Tina) Smith, Nashville; Sammy (Imogene) Smith, Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Shelley, Andrew, Devin, Justin, Matthew, Kylie and Megan.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dennis Price officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 1–3 p.m. on Tuesday.
