The Chattanooga Lookouts tied the game up late, but fell in extra-innings to the Blue Wahoos, 10-9.

It was another wild game between Pensacola and Chattanooga. The Blue Wahoos scored 10 runs on 14 hits, while the Lookouts had nine runs on 18 hits. They got 17 hits in the team's 12-3 win Monday night

Nick Greenwood started and allowed five earned runs on nine hits including two home runs.

Corey Williams relieved Greenwood and didn't fare much better as he was charged with three earned runs. Jake Reed had a roller coaster ride as he struck out three and walked three in two innings of work but only allowed one hit and one run.

After dropping the first game in the series Pensacola came out strong, jumping out to a 5-2 lead. They seemingly put the game away in the seventh inning when they scored three runs to increase their lead to six.

Chattanooga was not deterred by the large deficit however, as they began their furious comeback attempt in the seventh inning.

Shannon Wilkerson ignited the offense with a leadoff double. Two straight singles by Travis Harrison and DJ Hicks made it 8-4 Pensacola. Mitch Garver then cut the lead down to two a batter later on a two-run double. The double was his eighth on the season.

The game was knotted up at eight in the eighth inning on a Daniel Palka sacrifice fly and a DJ Hicks double. The back-and-forth affair continued in the top of the ninth when Pensacola took the lead on a RBI single. Now down one run in the ninth the Lookouts seemed down to their final outs, but Ryan Walker got on base with a single. The speedy infielder then stole second and proceeded to score on a throwing error by Joe Hudson.

Now in extra innings the game continued on until the 11th when Philip Ervin smacked his second, and the team's fifth, home run of the day. The 10-9 loss sends the Lookouts to 14-18 on the season and ties the series at a game a piece.

The Lookouts finished the day with 18 hits. Travis Harrison led the way with four while DJ Hicks and Leo Reginatto each collected three. Reginatto is now hitting a team-high .316 on the year.

Wednesday the two teams face off against at 7:15 p.m. at AT&T Field. Lefty David Hurlbut is scheduled to take the mound for the Lookouts against Rookie Davis.
