The School of Theology bestowed prizes, awards, and honors to selected students recognizing academic achievement during the course of their residency.
At a luncheon following the last community Eucharist of the year, the School of Theology announced the names of five students who were being recognized for their academic acheivements in various categories.
- The School of Theology prize in Biblical Studies was awarded to Rob Donehue, T'16
- The School of Theology prize in Theology and Ethics was awarded to Amy Duggins, T'16
- The School of Theology prize in Historical Studies was awarded to Neil Raman, T'16
- The School of Theology prize in Practical Theology was awarded to Dale Grandfield, T'16
- The School of Theology Community Service Award was awarded to Ricardo Sheppard, T'16
Other previous award recipients recognized during the luncheon were B.J.
Heyboer, T'16, recipient of the Woods Leadership Award; and Joshua Stephens, T'16, recipient of the Freeman Award for Merit. Boyd Evans, T'16, Trey Kennedy, T'16, and Tyler Richards, T'16, all recieved William A. Griffin Scholarships for study in the Holy Land.
During the school's commencement service, it was announced that three students graduated with honors—Amy Duggins, B.J. Heyboer, and Joshua Stephens, and the final award of the year, the Isaac Marion Dwight Medal for Philosophical and Biblical Greek, was presented to Rob Donehue.
