Son Lux Plays At Revelry Room May 25

  • Wednesday, May 11, 2016

The "electro-classical/experimental/R&B" solo-project-turned-trio, Son Lux will be playing at the Revelry Room on May 25.

Review for Son Lux:
Son Lux’s songs have been sampled by everyone from Halsey to Fall Out Boy, their biggest fans include mega influencers like Sophia Bush and Lorde (who selected them to participate in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay soundtrack and covered their track “Easy”), and they just won the UK Music Video Award for Best Alternative Video.

Constantly challenging himself and finding new avenues for his signature sound, Ryan Lott, Son Lux frontman, has also scored the movie The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby and the film adaptation of John Green’s Paper Towns, in addition to being one third of experimental supergroup, Sisyphus, alongside prolific rapper Serengeti and iconic singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens.

The band just announced a massive U.S. tour this spring, on which they’ll be playing only non-traditional venues such as lodges and art galleries across the country.

Xenia Rubios will also be playing that evening.  Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show is at 9 p.m.  Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 day of show and available here
