Erlanger Health System will host two events at the Lookouts baseball games at AT&T Field on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and Sunday at 2:15 p.m.
Erlanger hosts “Strike Out Stroke” with the Lookouts on Saturday against the Biloxi Shuckers. Stroke survivors and medical specialists will be there to raise awareness and educate fans on the signs and symptoms of stroke. As the region’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center, Erlanger has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Comprehensive Stroke Centers, recognizing that Erlanger’s stroke program follows national standards and guidelines that significantly improve outcomes for stroke patients.
Erlanger will recognize emergency medical service personnel and other rescue and medical agencies for “First Responder Night” at the Lookouts game against the Biloxi Shuckers on Sunday. In recognition of Erlanger’s partnership with the region’s first responders and over 26 years as the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center, the first 100 police, fire or EMS personnel who show their employee ID will receive two free admission tickets to the game. Weather and medical flights permitting, fans will experience a Life Force air medical landing as members of the crew deliver the afternoon’s game ball.
