Chattanooga Lookouts' pitchers struck out 14 batters in a 5-2 win over the Biloxi Shuckers in front of a sell out crowd of 6,376 fans at AT&T Field.
Zack Granite kicked off his big 4-for-4 night with a single to center field. After stealing his 16th base of the season, the speedy outfielder scored on a Shannon Wilkerson double.
Daniel Palka then increased the early lead to three on his team leading sixth home run of the season.

In the second inning, Biloxi closed the deficit to two on a Victor Roache home run, but DJ Baxendale sat down the next two batters to get out of the inning. Baxendale continues to make his case for a possibly promotion to Triple-A Rochester. In six innings, he gave up two runs on eight hits. He walked none and struck out nine, finishing with a 2.88 ERA.
Chattanooga's final runs of the day came on a Palka ground out in the fifth and a Wilkerson RBI single in the seventh.
Lookouts' relievers Corey Williams and Trevor Hildenberger also turned in solid performances. Williams struck out two batters in a scoreless seventh inning while Hildenberger recorded his second save of the year.
Travis Harrison missed his second straight game since his outfield collision with Shannon Wilkerson.
The Lookouts try to take game two of the series against the Shuckers in a 2:15 Sunday Matinee.
