Velma Arletha Skiles, 86, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, died on Saturday, May 14, 2016. She was a member of the Sale Creek Church of God.
Her husband, Frank W. Skiles, Sr.; her parents, George and Ada Bowman Sutherland and a son, Garrie Lee Skiles, preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Barney Skiles and Frank W. Skiles, Jr.; her daughter, Wanda Lewis; her sisters, Hannah Hensley and Thelma Sutherland along with eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The service will be 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Brother Ray Wrinkle and Pastor Caleb Bolton. Burial will follow in Hendon Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and after 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
