Sue Collins has been named senior vice president and chief human resources officer for TVA by President and CEO Bill Johnson. She has served as vice president of Human Resources since joining TVA in 2014.
Ms. Collins leads all aspects of TVA’s people organization. Her areas of responsibility include human resources business partnerships; talent acquisition; diversity and inclusion; leadership and employee development; employee health; labor relations; compensation and benefit programs; retirement services; and HR systems.
“Since joining our leadership team at TVA, Sue has led an important evolution of our human resources function to support our company’s long-term, strategic goals,” Mr. Johnson said. “In this role, she will continue to guide an increasingly innovative organization that is vital to ensuring we maintain and continue to develop a talented, diverse workforce engaged in our mission of service at TVA.”
Ms. Collins is a veteran energy industry human resources leader. Prior to joining TVA, she served as senior vice president of human resources for the Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, an Exelon company, where she was responsible for building the comprehensive HR function for a complex, multinational joint venture. Ms. Collins earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Le Moyne College and an MBA with an emphasis in human resources and organizational behavior from Syracuse University.
