Betty Evalean Chastain Teems, 78, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
A resident of the Ringgold area most of her life she was a member of Life Gate Church in LaFayette, and was a former employee of Shop-rite in Ringgold.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl E. and Arlie Burns Chastain, and daughter, Cathy Rene Eaves.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Teems Sr. of Ringgold; daughter, Debbie Dempsey of Ringgold; son, David (Deborah) Cornett of LaFayette; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold.
