This year’s festival will benefit local non-profit Chattanooga’s Kids on the Block and regional charity CraftWorks Foundation. After two years of having limited involvement and last year having no involvement in the Southern Brewers Festival, CKOB is once again partnering with the CraftWorks Foundation. Fifty percent of the festival’s proceeds will directly benefit children and families in the community through CKOB whose mission is to educate children on social concerns and differences, giving them skills to stay safe and healthy and 50 percent will benefit CraftWorks Foundation which is the charitable arm of CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries and aims to impact their team members by providing financial assistance in times of crisis and educational resources for personal and career development.

In 2000, The CraftWorks Foundation was founded to provide a way to channel the corporation’s giving, encourage and facilitate community service programs, and assist employees through unanticipated hardships. Foundation Executive Director Adam Bradbury said, “The foundation continues to grow and seeks to make a difference in the lives of our teammates and local communities. We are proud to be working again with Kids on the Block in Chattanooga as part of our dual commitment to the people and areas we serve, setting us uniquely apart in our industry.”

CKOB Executive Director Kelly Williams said, “We are thrilled with the opportunity to again work with the team at CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries and the Foundation. Their support of our community and the partnership with Kids on the Block allows for quality educational resources which truly impact the lives of children and families in our region.”
