2nd Station Street Sip And Savor Festival Is July 30

The 2nd Annual Station Street Sip & Savor beverage and food tasting festival is presented by Lipman Brothers and Springer Mountain Farms. Festivities will take place on July 30 from 5-9 p.m. at the Formal Gardens at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. A portion of funds generated will go to benefit Kids on the Block.  This is a 21+ event. 

The event will include over 50 beverages and a dozen participating restaurants. Admission includes a souvenir Station Street Sip & Savor tasting glass, samples from any of the beverages, including a variety of local, regional, national, and imported beer, wine and spirits, as well as food samples, live music and live cooking demonstrations. 

Food samples will be provided by local favorites, including: World of Beer, Chicken Salad Chick, Community Pie, Honest Pint, Mike’s Hole in the Wall and Mike’s Smokehouse. 

Chef demonstrations will be taking place at the bottom of the hour throughout the event on the Springer Mountain Farms Chef Stage.  Attendees will be able to taste the food samples that the chefs prepare in front of them while watching on the live video screens and listening to the chefs describe the food preparations. 

Early Bird General Admission tickets are $40 plus tax in advance on the website www.stationstreetsipandsavor.com.  Ticket prices will increase to $45 at midnight on June 1 and to $55 the day of the event. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $65 plus tax in advance and include early admission at 4 p.m. for a special Riedel Glass Tasting and three Riedel glasses to keep.  There is also a 50 percent off discount for all active military – use promo code MILITARY (all caps) and must show military ID at the door.
