The pages of Hot Bike magazine are set to come to life on the streets of Chattanooga, on Sept. 11, when the national motorcycle enthusiast magazine stops in the city as part of the GEICO Motorcycle Hot Bike Tour – a five-day, five-city, 1,000-mile journey from Sept. 7-11.
The tour, which is in its fourth year, will bring motorcycle enthusiasts and industry leaders together to celebrate the open road with bike shows, music, food, vendors, and bike rides from city to city. This remarkable ride will be the ultimate steel-horse cavalry of motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the nation to explore five incredible cities and show off their bikes and their passion.
Returning to this year’s event will be the popular Hot Bike’s Invitational Bike Build-Off, featuring top motorcycle builders from around the country. The designers not only create the world’s best custom bikes, but must also prove their bikes can ride as well as they look good.
The 2016 tour will begin on Sept. 7, in Asheville, N.C., then wind its way to Maggie Valley, N.C.; Knoxville and Cookeville; and end with a grand finale stop in Chattanooga. Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts are expected to converge during each stop for a special night of entertainment and displays.
