A man was seriously injured shortly after 9 a.m. on Friday, in an industrial accident at Neff Rental, at 309 Corporate Place.
Firefighters said an employee with the company was attempting to clean a mini-excavator when the accident occurred.
Chattanooga firefighters provided some on-scene care to stem the bleeding and then handed the patient off to Hamilton County EMS, which rushed the victim to Erlanger Medical Center.
