Hornbuckle, Peggy Haggard (Trenton)

Peggy Haggard Hornbuckle, 74, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016. 

Peggy was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, in Cherokee NC, and had worked at Signal Knitting Mill.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Calvin Hornbuckle and Joseph Allen Lee Gass; and parents, Joseph Monroe and Bessie Nelson Goff. 

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Velvet (Bobby Ray) Brownfield and Deborah “Debbie” (William) Darst; brothers, Joe Billy (Yvonne) Goff; sisters, Wilma Haggard and Betty (Winfred) Haggard; step-children, Larry, Rose and Loretta Hornbuckle; seven step-grandchildren; 21step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 24, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. CDT.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. CDT. Interment will follow in Glover’s Hill Cemetery.

Tate Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
