Jack Wright, 84, of the Cottonport Community in Meigs County, Tennessee, died Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his home. 

He was a member of Cottonport Baptist Church, and a 50 year member of Meigs Masonic Lodge F&AM, and Scottish Rights. He retired from T.V.A. and served and Meigs County Court Clerk for 20 years.

He was preceeded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Wright; parents, Bill Wright and Irene Holland; and brother, Ray Wright.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Patty Wright of Memphis, TN; granddaughter, Andrea Wright Krimmel and husband Bobby of Spring Hill, TN; two great-grandsons, Riley and Caden Krimmel of Spring Hill, TN; brother, Leon Wright of 
Decatur; sister-in-law, Becky Wright of Manchester, TN; niece, Donna Hickman and husband Taylor of Decatur; nephew, Ronald Wright and wife Jackie of Manchester, TN; and special friends, Catherine Moore and her family, Cathy Howard, Becky McHone and Lisa Gilchrist.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, from 5-7 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m., and the funeral to follow at Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Redman officiating.

Burial will be held at 11a.m., Wednesday, May 25, in the Cottonport Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Earl Wright, Dale Kile, Jake Kile, Jr., Doc Kile, Willis Boles, Jackie Melton. Honorary Pallbearersare Charlie Kile, Garland Lankford, Frank Wright, Jamey McKenzie and Ricky McHone.

Bowers Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
