U.S. Navy Veteran Worked For Chattanooga Times Free Press And Retired From TVA

H. Dean Thomas, 80, of Ringgold, died on Monday, May 23, at a local health care facility. 

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and had worked at the Chattanooga Times Free Press and retired from TVA after 18 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a son, Aaron (Melinda) Thomas, of Ringgold;  daughter, Mary (Ron) Davis, of Lorena, Texas, and a grandson, Connor Thomas, of Ringgold.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Reverend Mike Sims officiating.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
