Hope The Large Friendly White Dog With A Black Spot Made It Home Safely

A large friendly white dog with a large black spot on his back and smaller ones over much of the rest of his body came by to visit today. He looked really thirsty with his tongue hanging out when he walked straight int the house, so we gave him a small snack and some water.
 
There was a collar, but before we could check it, he seemed in a hurry to leave.
He walked straight out of the door, stayed a second, drinking a little more water then headed west towards Beulah. He may have climbed over a fence to get out of his parents' yard, because there appears to have been small amounts of what look like blood in his fur on the underside of his hind legs where he may have scratched himself climbing over a fence of some kind.
 
I'm thinking he was hurrying to get back home before it was found he'd gotten out. He seems to have known where he wanted to g when he left. I hope he made it back home alright. I think I've seen him wandering before, but I'm not sure. It's been awhile.
 
We were just concern and hoping he'd made it safely back home.
