Wardell “Jap” Justice, 65, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at his residence. 

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and father, Freeman Justice. 

Survivors include his daughter, April Simmons of Chattanooga; grandsons, Eric Henderson of Virginia and Domanique Rahman of Chattanooga; loving mother, Ethel M. Pinson; brothers, Larry Johnson, both of Chattanooga, and Bill Johnson of California; nephews, Sean Johnson and Derek Johnson, both of Chattanooga; cousins, Reuben Justice, Jr. of Ringgold, Pamela Heard of Chattanooga, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

He will lie in state on Thursday, May 5, after noon at Taylor Funeral Home with visitation from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel. 

There will be no funeral service.
