  • Tuesday, May 3, 2016

A special lunch event will be held at Miller Plaza on Friday, May 13 for “Go Blue” Day as a salute to the work that the City and County law enforcement officers do to serve and protect citizens every day.

Free pizza from Little Caesars, free Coke products from Chattanooga Coca-Cola Bottling and free Frisbees with the "Go Blue" logo will be given to the first 500 people, including the men and women in blue, as well as the general public.

Live music will be provided on the River City stage by local blues/rock band, Dr.

B. and the Ease.  The event will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Stephanie Crowe, chief experience and strategy officer with SmartBank said, “These public servants go above and beyond the call of duty in all ways to further a safe and thriving community.  As a community bank, we had to be involved in this fun event.  We couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate our local heroes in a way that invites everyone to the party.”

“Go Blue” Day is made possible through support and partnerships from SmartBank, IBEW Local 175, Warren and Griffin, P.C., Jacobs Paper, Little Caesars Pizza, Chattanooga Coca-Cola, and Cumulus Radio.
