Robert Prichard
Robert Prichard, 85, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, May 2, 2016.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank. He worked for many years at A&E machinery in Chattanooga, also Chattanooga Group and the Chattanooga Trade Center. As a young man he worked at General Motors in Detroit, Michigan. He was an avid sports fan and loved Bowling, Tennessee football and sitting by the ocean. He loved bicycles and scooters all through his life.
But the love of his life was his wife of 39 years. He loved her and his children with all his heart. He also had a soft spot for his cat and all animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bates and Edna Prichard, son; Robert Glen Prichard, Sr., brothers; Henry Prichard, Kenneth Prichard and Hoyt Prichard.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Margaret Prichard, daughter; Tina (Randy) Thurman, Two sons; Donnie Davis, Charles (Angela) Prichard, daughter; Glenda (Ray) Prichard, daughter-in-law; Linda Prichard, sister; Betty June Bruno, three grandchildren; Robert Glen Prichard, Jr., Riley Prichard and Luke Prichard, and several step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at Hamilton Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 4–7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, and from 12–2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
