Michael Anthony Greene, 51, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Greene was born in Lafayette, Georgia on Nov. 29, 1964, to the late Scott Lee Greene and Jeannette Goodson Greene. He was a member of Living Waters Ministries, and prior to ill health had been employed with Black and Meek, and in the logging industry.
Mr. Greene is survived by a son, Justin Rhinehart; brothers, Chris Greene, Jason Greene and Jeff Greene; sisters, Lisa Craig and Karen Wood; two grandchildren; special friend, Linda Lee; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Greene will be held Thursday, May 5, at 2 p.m. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shelley Trammell, Dusty Trammell, Joseph Hudgins, Chuck Wood, Logan Greene, Coty Williamson, Neal Black and Wade Laney.
Mr. Greene will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday May 5, from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour.
