A new business, Walnut Bridge Market, has opened at 204 Walnut St.

Owner Dianna Lenore Ward described the store as an urban market. It will sell items for the condominiums and apartments in the area as well as providing a place for people to gather, catering to families. There will be tables but no kitchen. Beer will be available for purchase along with only pre-packaged food.

Her request for a beer permit was approved on Thursday by the city Beer Board.

The Daily Ration, 1220 Dartmouth St., is the second restaurant owned by Matt Skudlarek and Jason Bowers, who also have The Bitter Alibi on Houston Street.

This new business will be open from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. seven days a week and will offer breakfast and lunch with brunch on weekends.
