Mr. Dean was also the male overall winner for the event’s inaugural race in 2015. Medals for the top three finishers for male and female in several age categories were awarded as well.

Participants received a T-shirt, reusable grocery tote, water bottle, sweat wrist band, pens and informational flyers.

Several local businesses and organizations had representatives at the park, including Mars Chocolate, Whirlpool, Terra Running Company, State Farm, Glassworks, Impact Cleveland, Greenstream Recycling, the Cleveland Police Department, Cleveland Code Enforcement Division and the Cleveland Stormwater Division.

Approximately 3,000 pounds of recyclables were collected at the event. Greenstreamling Recycling LLC provided the 14 large drop-off bins and collected the recyclables. The city of Cleveland applied for a litter/recycling grant through the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Highway Beautification Office in 2014 which helps provides funding for this event.
