  • Friday, June 10, 2016

The Chattanooga Audubon Society invites the public to join them on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m.-noon at Audubon Acres for their Fun in the Water program.

"Enjoy a short hike through our woods to the South Chickamauga Creek where you will get in the water with dip nets to discover the wealth of wildlife our waters carry. We will examine local fish, macro-invertebrates, mollusks and more while we have a fun splash in the water. Using real testing equipment put on your scientist hats while we do water quality experiments. Come prepared to get wet and enjoy some fun in the water," officials said.

Tickets are $5 per person. Email lgrabowski@chattaudubon.org or call 423-892-1499 to register.
