AVA's Gallery Renovations Are In Final Stages

  • Friday, June 10, 2016

Some milestones have been completed in the ongoing AVA Gallery renovations. The window stage area has been completed, the new LED gallery lighting has been installed and the gallery space has been repainted this week.

Some highlights of the next major milestones happening in the coming days are the installation of the front Gallery window glass. The new windows will not only be AVA's facade on Frazier Avenue, but will also provide greater UV and thermal protection for the Gallery and the exhibiting art. Also will be the installation of a sound system. This will provide an audio system that will help facilitate lectures, presentations, and the ability to provide background music for events in the Gallery.

The Gallery grand reopening will be Friday, July 1, from 5:30-8 p.m.
