Randall “Dale” Lemons, 73, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Saturday June 11, 2016 in a local hospital.
Born Feb. 6, 1943, in Birchwood to the late William Paul and Dora Lee Erby Lemons, he spent the majority of his life in Bradley County. Dale was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and was also an ordained minister. He was employed at Poly Craft and Magic Chef for many years. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Ann Lemons; and two brothers, Arthur Lee Clinton Lemons and Jesse Doyle Lemons.
He is survived by one son, Joe Lemons and wife Bonnie of Charleston; daughter, Amy Evans of Chattanooga; two sisters, Joyce Lemons Bius and husband Daniel of Murphy, NC and Pauline Lemons Gladson of Cleveland; grandchildren, Cassie Gilliand, Tiarra Tallent, Lacey Bowers, Ryan Dempsey and Jeremy Dempsey all of Cleveland; seven great-grandchildren; caregiver, Shirley M. Smith of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 14 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner funeral Home with Brother Bill Fox officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 13 from 5-8 p.m. at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements,
