City Of Collegedale Independence Day Celebration Traffic Patterns And Rules

The City of Collegedale announce their Independence Day Celebration will take place on Sunday, July 3.  The Veterans Park Field will open to pedestrians at 11 a.m. 

"On top of our large fireworks display, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will be performing a free concert with the East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra (ETSO)," officials said. "We are expecting the largest crowd in our event’s history. Please consider carpooling as parking will be limited."

Additional parking will be at Southern Adventist University, with a shuttle bus from the campus to the SunTrust Bank on Apison Pike.  Refer to their website and Facebook account for traffic patterns, parking, and information. 

Park Rules and Regulations:

- No overnight camping
- No alcohol
- Smoking and Vaping in designated areas only
- No tents, canopies, large beach umbrellas
- No drones
- No personal fireworks
- Keep all walkways clear 
- No unauthorized vehicles
