Rhonwyn “Ronni” Abernathy of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. An avid golfer, she was a two-time Creeks Bend Women’s Club champion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carleton Abernathy, her parents, Glenn H. and Marie Hughes Richards and her brother, George Richards.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Jeanne Abernathy; one granddaughter, Jacklyn; and sister-in-law, Frances Richards.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, Ga.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Hospice of Chattanooga or a charity of your choice.
