Hendrix, Mary Frances

Mary Frances Hendrix, 90, of East Ridge, died on Thursday, June 23, 2016.  

She had been a member of Crosspath at East Ridge since 1946 and taught the Winsome Sunday School Class. Mrs. Hendrix was a graduate of Central High School class of 1944.  She had worked at GC Murphy and had also been the director of the daycare at East Ridge Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence D. Hendrix.

Survivors include two sons, Mike (Joyce) Hendrix of East Ridge and Dan (Kim) Hendrix of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Chris (Stacy) Hendrix, Daniel Hendrix, David Hendrix and Jacob Hendrix; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Mansfield of Rogers, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with the Reverend William Jacques officiating.
