Bonnie J. Hicks, 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at a local hospital. 

She was a well known waitress for the Chalet and Holiday Inn for over 30 years.  For the last 15 years she took care of 7 families.  Bonnie was an honorary member of the VFW.  She was of the Christian faith. 

Survivors include her husband, “Cowboy Jim” Hicks, of Cleveland; children, Lisa Camacho and Gi Gi Whiting, both of Murphy, NC, Sonya Francis of Ringgold, GA and Sheila Stepp of Cleveland; three step-children, James Allen Hicks, Danita Rose Hayes and Shavonda Michelle Hicks, all of Oklahoma City, OK; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law, Nettie Jones, Marian Garner and Bonnie Sue Hardin.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Eugene Garner officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Mike Francis, Timothy Whiting, Michael Rockmore, Eric Dunn, Isaac Hedrick and Rusty Tapley serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday, June 25 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
