Alan Pruett
Alan Richard Pruett, 55, of Rossville, died on Friday, June 24, 2016.
He had lived in Rossville for most of his life and attended Rossville High School. He had worked in sales and management for Superior Rope and Sling in Chattanooga prior to going to Mississippi for five years where he opened up a manufacturing operation there for Ashley Sling, Inc. He returned to Rossville four years ago. Alan enjoyed spending time with his daughter, golfing, being with friends, and he was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard E. Pruett; brother, Ronald E. Pruett; grandparents, Mary and Floyd Pope and Willie Bell and Charles J. Pruett, Sr.; and uncle, Charles J. Pruett, Jr.
Survivors include his daughter, Alexis Pruett of Rossville; mother, Elaine Pruett of Chickamauga; two sisters, Vicki (Gary) Fann of Rossville and Sharon (Randy) Townsell of Ringgold; sister-in-law, Debbie Pruett of Rossville; uncles, Richard Pope of Rossville and Larry (Shelba) Pruett of Ringgold; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 27, at 3 p.m. at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Reverend Jim Bennett officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2-6 p.m., and Monday, from 1-2:30 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
