Ricky Lamar Wooten, 51, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Attalla, Alabama.
Mr. Wooten was born in Atlanta, GA on Jan. 2, 1965, son of the late Jimmy Ray Wooten and Barbara Ann Carter. He was employed as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wooten was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Wooten.
Mr. Wooten is survived by a son, Jacob Wooten; daughters and son-in-law, Nicole Wooten and Ashley and Jed Walden; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Melissa Wooten; special aunt, Linda Wooten; grandchildren, Brevan Knight, Brooklyn Walden, Slayde Walden, Havin Wooten, Madisyn Wooten and Adilyn Williams; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Wooten will be held Wednesday, June 29, at 2 p.m. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Bro. Joel Smith and Rev. Doyle Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roger Wooten, Nathan Petty, Jed Walden, Johnny McCormick, Tommy Petty and Brandon Wooten. Honorary Pallbearers are Rex and Wally Laney.
Mr. Wooten will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Tuesday, June 28 from 6-8 p.m.
