James “Jimmy” D. McPherson, 55, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, June 27, 2016.

He was born in Chattanooga, was a graduate of Red Bank High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  Jimmy was employed with Walmart in Soddy Daisy.  He was a member of Mountain Creek Church of Christ. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James D. McPherson, Sr. and Marilyn Yvonne McPherson.

Jimmy is survived by his three brothers, Mike (Donna) McPherson, Tim (Robin) McPherson and Randall (Linda) McPherson; two nieces, one nephew, and one great-nephew.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Services for Jimmy will follow at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, at the North Chapel with Minister Chris Barnett officiating.  Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
