Barbara Louise Hoover, 65, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on Monday, June 27, 2016 in a local hospital.

She attended the Gathering in Fort Oglethorpe and enjoyed shopping.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her “fur-baby” Bandit. They were her world.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Veler and Marie Hennessey and brother, Bill Veler.

Survivors include her children, Tammie Renee Taylor, David Raymond (Tonya) Hoover, Jr. and LaLonie Marie Billegas, grandchildren, Ashley Danielle Taylor, Alexis Patricia Renee VanMenxel, Crisjon Alex Gans, Tiffany Lynn Hoover, David Michael Hoover, Steven Richard Hoover, Anthony Scott Hoover, Robert Joseph Billegas, II, Taylor Ann Marie Billegas, Christopher Richard Billegas, Bradley Xavier Billegas and Tiana Elizabeth Billegas, great-grandchildren, Alayah Sierra Renee Taylor, Dawson Taylor and Ava Lynn Armstrong, sisters, Ann Szegedi and Jeanette Silver, brothers, Butch Veler and Mike Veler and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 29, from 3-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
