James Albert “Sonny” Guinn, 81, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died peacefully on Monday, June 27, at his home.
He was the son of Bedford and Laura Mae Jones Guinn.
He was retired from Pittsburg Knitting Mill where he had worked since it opened.
Mr. Guinn is survived by his wife, Jo Guinn of South Pittsburg; two sons, James G. Guinn of Stevenson, Alabama and Gregory Johnson of South Pittsburg; three daughters, Teresa (Winfred) Smith of Kimball, TN, Vicki (David) Duke of Richard City, TN and Joanne (Randy) Kennemore, of New Hope, TN.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 30, and Friday, July 1, from 2-9 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Saturday, July 2, with Reverend J.B. Jones and Reverend Robert Jones officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
