Robert Lee Hood, 76, of Jasper, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Robert pastored Faith Baptist Church of Jasper for 38 years and retired from MHC Kenworth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bartley & Lucille Hood; and sister, Elizabeth Hood.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margie Hood of Jasper; children, Robert “Russ” (Kimberly) Hood of Jasper and Karen (Donnie Green) Hood of Whitwell; siblings, Lloyd A. Hood & Family, Bartley Hood, Jr. & Family, Patrick E. Hood & Family, Wanda J. Kilgore & Family; grandchildren, Ben (Beka) Hood, Cassie Hood, Drew(Terrie) Ward, Annie Ward, Peyton Green, Chris(Lashelle) Green and Blake (Monica) Bankston; 11 great-grandchildren; and friends from Faith Baptist Church.
Family will receive friends 1-8 p.m., Thursday, June 30 and 10 a.m.-1p.m., Friday, July 1.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 1, at Faith Baptist Church withRev. Jimmy Tedder & Rev. Curtis Henderson officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Jasper.
