Vincent Ivan Phipps Receives National Speakers Association's Highest Honor

Vincent Ivan Phipps, M.A., CSP  has earned the Certified Speaking Professional designation. Established in 1980, the CSP is the National Speakers Association’s and Global Speakers Federation’s highest recognized honor.  Less than 13 percent of the world’s best speakers have qualified to hold this professional designation. 

CSPs must document a proven track record of experience and expertise, as well as a  
commitment to ongoing education, outstanding client service, and ethical behavior, said officials.  Mr. Phipps is one of 53 other professionals in the world to earn the CSP in the class of 2016. Mr. Phipps will be honored at Influence 2016, which is the NSA’s annual convention in Phoenix. 

Mr. Phipps is a Chattanooga native, graduate of Notre Dame High School, instructor at UTC and owner of Communication VIP Training and Coaching, headquartered in Chattanooga.  Mr. Phipps was also the youngest and the first African-American to serve as the president of the Tennessee Chapter of the National Speakers.

Mr. Phipps and his company have been awarded twice in the last three years (2013 and 2016), by the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, as a Top 3 Finalist for Small Business of the Year.
