Mary Katherine Henshaw Roberts, 98, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died on Friday, June 3, 2016. 

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Roberts, Sr.; daughters, JoAnn Barker, and Shirley June and Wyatt Earp; grandson, Gary Roberts; granddaughter, Lucretia Ann Roberts; brothers, R.C., LaFollett, Henry and Stanley Henshaw; and sister, Edith Barton.

Katherine was a member of the South Pittsburg Holly Avenue Methodist Church. She was retired from the South Pittsburg Knitting Mills. Her passion in life was cooking for her family and friends.

Katherine is survived by her son, Lawrence Roberts, Jr.; granddaughters, Kathy (Gordon) Denmark, Karen (Mark) Peterson and Molly (Joe) Johnston; granddaughter-in-law, Kathrine Roberts; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Monday, June 6 at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 6 from 1-3 p.m. at the Rogers Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
