School is finally out and it's the first week of June, which means it's time for action to begin in the Chattanooga Area Swim League.

The league, which has fielded summer swim teams in Chattanooga and surrounding counties for a long time, now has three divisions with five teams in each division.

The Blue division includes defending City Meet champion Dalton, in addition to Cleveland, Signal Mountain, Stuart Heights and Ooltewah.

The Red division includes teams from Big Ridge, Calhoun, Country Club, Fairyland and Ringgold while the White division has teams from Cumberland, Fort Oglethorpe, Red Bank, Ridgeside and the Waterdogs.

There are six meets on today's schedule, including Dalton at Ooltewah in a meet that begins at 5:30.  Other meets at that time include Cleveland at Stuart Heights and Country Club at Big Ridge.

Meets set to begin at 6 p.m. include Ridgeside at Waterdogs, Cumberland at Fort Oglethorpe and Ringgold at Fairyland.

The regular-season meets will be held each Monday and Thursday from today until June 30.  The annual City Meet, named in honor of legendary official Bill Caulkins a couple of years ago, will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 8-9 at Baylor School.
