One-Walker Membership Luncheon At City Of Chickamauga Is June 21

The Walker County Chamber of Commerce will host its “One-Walker” membership luncheon on
June 21 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the banquet hall of the Gordon Lee Mansion located at 217 Cove Road in Chickamauga.

During the luncheon, Chamber Chair Paul R. Cook will discuss One-Walker, Commissioner Bebe Heiskell will give a State of Walker County Address, City Councilman Evitte Parrish will give the City of Chickamauga Address, Corky Jewell, chairman of the Chickamauga City Board of Education, will give a system update.

Exciting things are happening in Chickamauga.

One-Walker’s purpose is to “facilitate venue and discussions for the cities, county and Chamber
to identify best opportunities for collaboration.”  During his portion of the event, Chair Cook will discuss how this initiative came about, how the group has operated to date, and how they will continue to work toward a brighter future for Walker County. 

Parking will be available at the Gordon Lee High School horseshoe. Please note that the event
will take place indoors.

Check-in begins at 11:30 am. The cost to attend is $15 per person, which includes a meal
provided by Crystal Springs Smokehouse located in Chickamauga.   Space is limited and
reservations must be made online at www.walkercochamber.com or by visiting the following

The deadline to register is Sunday at midnight prior to the event and no walk-ins will be accepted.  Non-Chamber members are required to pay by Visa or MasterCard at the time of registration. Refunds for cancellations will not be accepted after noon on Friday, June 17.
