Remembering July 16 At Chattanooga State

  • Tuesday, July 12, 2016

Last year, the Chattanooga State community came together to mourn the loss of the Fallen Five following the events that occurred on July 16, 2015. That solemn date remains forever etched in the minds of students, faculty, and staff. Chattanooga State Community College will hold a brief ceremony marking the first anniversary of this day on Friday beginning at 11:15 a.m. in the Amphitheater on the main campus.

Dr. Flora Tydings, Chattanooga State president, will present opening comments, followed by brief remarks from Student Government Association President Austin Adderholt.

Student Veteran’s Club President Bill Wright will call the roll and request a moment of silence before Darrin Hassevoort closes the ceremony with a rendition of America, the Beautiful.
