Challengers outraised incumbents for four county school board seats during the last reporting period.
In District 1, Rhonda Thurman took in $6,782. Patti Skates had $12,235 and Jason Moses $3,766.
Ms. Thurman was backed by $500 from Thelma Potter. Mr. Moses had $1,000 from David Milliken, $900 from Unda Whalen and $500 each from Roger Tudor and Randall Massingill.
The Skates campaign received $1,250 from Rick Montague, $1,000 from Charlie Brock and Olan Mills III, $750 from Paul Brock and Joe Davenport and $500 from Buddy Faulkner, Sarah Faulkner, HCEA, Allen McCallie, Pamela Shelley and William Van Wierkenhoven.
In District 2, Kathy Lennon raised $12,890. School Board Chairman Jonathan Welch had $137.79.
The Lennon help included $1,000 from Olan Mills, Gerald McCormick, Joe Davenport and Charlie Brock and $500 from Robert Mills, Allen McCallie, Paul Brock Jr., Joe Johnson, Buddy Faulkner and Sarah Faulkner.
In District 4, Annette Thompson did not have receipts, and Montrell Besley took in $3,117. Incumbent George Ricks had $1,050.
Tiffanie Robinson took in $23,646. That included $1,500 from Kristina Montague and Alice Smith, $1,250 from Rick Montague, $1,000 from Emily Fuller, Joe Davenport and Olan Mills, $525 from Charlie Brock and $500 from Lisa Brock, Allen McCallie, Ted Ailing, Richard Mills, Eric Myers, Paul Brock, Roger Coffman, Sarah Faulkner, Thomas Faulkner, Cartter Patten and HCEA.
In District 7, incumbent Donna Horn received $1,996, including $500 from Lori Cleveland.
Joe Wingate had $14,415. That included $1,500 from Mike Brookshire, $1,000 from Gerald McCormick and Joe Davenport, $750 from Sterling Jetton and $500 from Allen McCallie, Buddy Faulkner, HCEA and Kim Gatewood. Mr. Wingate loaned the campaign $1,000.
