Keep Rhonda Thurman

During my time as the assistant principal at Soddy-Daisy High School, I found Rhonda Thurman to be very supportive of both faculty and administration.  She did not make it a habit of hanging out at the school just to be seen, which is a practice administrators and most teachers abhor.  However, she was always a phone call away if we had a problem or concern.

Unlike her opponents, Rhonda has a working knowledge of the School Board and its proper function.  It is easy for her opponents to say I am going to improve graduation rates, raise academic scores and improve behavior;  The facts are that these people don't have any idea how to make these things happen.  Talk is cheap.

For the last 12 years, Rhonda has spent countless hours researching educational issues for herself.  She has not relied solely on information provided to her by the administration.  Each vote Rhonda casts is based on facts and figures.

Many times she has called me or one of my former colleagues for information and insight before she makes a decision on how to vote.  Rhonda has the work ethic, honesty and integrity it takes to do the job.  I strongly endorse the re-election of Rhonda Thurman for District 1 School Board representative.
