Jesse Nayadley Resigns From County Schools

Jesse Nayadley, former Ooltewah High School assistant principal and athletic director, has resigned from the county schools.

Nayadley was charged with failure to report child abuse in the case in which three Ooltewah High basketball players were charged with the rape of freshmen players.

The incident happened last Dec. 23 at a cabin in Gatlinburg.

Nayadley got a plea deal in the case. The charge can be expunged if he gets in no further trouble for six months.

Nayadley for the upcoming year had been moved to assistant principal of East Ridge High School.
