Wilmer Jackson
Wilmer Eugene Jackson, 88, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
He was a resident of Rossville for 30 years and was of the Baptist faith. Wilmer served his country by enlisting in the Unites States Army and also the National Guard. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Jackson; brothers, Grady Jackson, Ernest Jackson; first wife, Louise (Russell) Jackson; and second wife, Evelyn (Thompson) Jackson.
He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Pepe, of Chickamauga; step-son, Kevin (Chanda) Thompson, of Rossville, Ga.; sister, Maybell, Of Summerville, Ga.; grandchildren, Kim Norris, Desiree Lambert, Deidre Morales, Brian Pepe; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Calvary Gardens Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
