Children's Hospital Staff And BB&T Huffaker Insurance Volunteers Complete Lighthouse Project

The staff of the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger teamed up with volunteers from BB&T Huffaker Insurance to complete their eighth annual charity initiative, the Lighthouse Project.

 

BB&T provided more than 300 goody bags to the hospital, which Erlanger and BB&T employees then delivered via “Cheer Cart” to Children’s Hospital patients.

BB&T also made a toy donation to the hospital’s toy chest.

 

“We are so grateful to BB&T, not only for their generous donations, but for inviting hospital staff to join them in giving back to our patients,” said Lois Simpson, Senior Child Life Specialist for Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. “We are always happy to have the opportunity to go the extra mile for our patients.”

 

“We wanted to work with the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger because of the great work they do inChattanooga,” said John Sorrow, Chief Agency Executive and Corporate Senior Vice President of BB&T Insurance Services, Erlanger Health System Foundations Board Chairman. “We are proud to team up with them and help in any way we can.”
