Chattanooga Theatre Centre Executive Director George Quick Has Immediate Resignation For Unspecified Reasons

  • Friday, July 22, 2016

George Quick, who has served as executive director at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre since 2008, announced Thursday that he was resigning his position effective immediately.

CTC Board president Kim Jackson thanked Mr. Quick for his years of service to the theatre and wished him luck on behalf of the board and volunteers.

She said, “George informed me that he would be leaving the CTC for personal reasons.

We are grateful for the service he has given to the theatre, and we respect his desire to keep the reasons for his decision private.”

Ms. Jackson said a search committee would be formed to identify and hire Mr. Quick’s replacement.  She added that people and procedures are in place to handle all of the job functions until the new executive director is hired.
